Olivier TALON
Painting

“The true power of art lies in its ability to bring people together and create moments of sharing and dialogue.” — Olafur Eliasson. To amplify this power, Olivier Talon divides his creations into a multitude of movable and transferable squares, inviting us to reorganize or even distribute them by dismantling the original piece, as each segment can be cataloged and located.

In doing so, bridges are built between hearts and minds, ideas meet, and perspectives intertwine. This is the real power of art. Born in 1972 in Roanne, and after a career in sports, Olivier Talon returned in 2012 to his initial studies in art history at the University of Lyon.

In 2023, he directs his artistic work towards a metaphor of social disintegration and its fragmentations. An award-winning artist and a member of the “Art Résilience” movement.
