Stéphane BASTIEN

Self-taught artist. He began alone with modeling, then spent a year at Alberto CARLISKY's studio in Paris.
In the 1990s, he discovered and regularly attended the NICOLI studio in Carrara, a historical specialist in marble sculpture. His work includes drawing, modeling, plaster, iron, resins, stone, and marble, with a figurative style.
Among the various themes he explores, the beach holds a significant place in his work. He examines beach codes, social codes, and the relationship with the body.
